Third Birthdays can be overwhelming

We had a great day overall. Grandma and Grandpa had a beautiful birthday table set for us complete with pink and purple balloons and a red velvet cake. They bought her a brand new kazoo that she'll need to relearn how to play. It's been awhile since our old plastic ones got dunked in juice and quit working. We had a party at home in the afternoon and our wonderful neighbors came over to place and have homemade chocolate cake. Of course the aunties were all there too. Phoenix was a bit overwhelmed at times. She had a moment where she said "I don't want it to be my birthday anymore!" But it was nothing a pressie wouldn't fix.
